Sewphie is an Irish Company, founded by Sophie Murphy. What started as a passion for giving forgotten clothes a second life has grown into a one-of-a-kind brand reworking sportswear with a playful, feminine twist.
At Sewphie, I reimagine both new and vintage pieces — from classic football jerseys to nostalgic training shorts — turning them into bold, wearable statements that feel fresh, fun, and full of personality. Each item is carefully reworked by hand, making every piece totally unique.
This isn’t just about fashion — it’s about storytelling, sustainability, and making the old feel exciting again.
Mission
Our mission at Sewphie is to give New Life to Old Life. We understand the impacts the garment industry has on the environment and make every effort to reduce waste at each step of our production process. Every piece is second hand purchased, lessening the demand for a new high polluting garment.
Each piece is sourced and reworked locally in Dublin, Ireland
Vision
Reworked clothing is 100% original, there will rarely be two items that are the exact same. Our designs centre salvaging vintage garments that would otherwise end up in a landfill, and all of our textile scraps are recycled and repurposed to eliminate textile waste.
